Users are having issues with Global Protect upgrading in the background. The solution is to uninstall the client, login to https://uwmadison.vpn.wisc.edu/ , download and install the client, and enter the portal address of uwmadison.vpn.wisc.edu. Remember to put “_1” at the end of your NetID if you have a static assignment.
