Campus provides –

25Tb of research storage via Restricted Research Drive (RRD) –

Everyone who is eligible should request an RRD allocation now in preparation for moving off of local storage.

For archival purposes, a free 50Tb allocation of Object Storage for archiving Research Data will be made available –

DoIT also maintains a KB for data management, including access and use of Globus and Research Drive (Restricted and non) and UW research data services –

To share a “collection” via Globus, you’ll need to first activate your Research Drive.

To obtain access to the Object Storage, you’ll need to first activate your Research Drive
